I gotta go check it out. Springfield, Missouri has a similar brewpub/restaurant called, appropriately, the Springfield Brewing Company. A similar selection of beers, including seasonals. Very popular. It's underwritten by a local stainless steel fabrication company, so you know they have the best equipment to make their brews.

Good food and a great atmosphere (tons of 'tuba like' instruments sitting on the floor or hanging on the walls). I was there some time ago and did remember seeing a cute waitress...

It's a couple miles east of the MSU campus and I believe is about a block south of a music store, whose name I have forgetten.

I drove up on my motorcycle a number of years ago and found a very eclectic menu and good tasting food. The beer aspect didn't exist at that point in time, but I'd like to get back in the future to do some suds sampling. There're certainly some interesting horns in the place...

I have been to the travelers club on several occasions, and I don't even live in Michigan. Menu changes regularly. They will feature foods from different regions (India, Chinese, Javanese, European, etc.) for a while, then change to a new region. Lots of old beat up tubas on the walls. Next time I am in Lansing, I'll go again. last I was there, it was very Hippy-esque (to me, a good thing_.

This time of year I thought that all Michiganders were down here at the beaches renting condos and conjesting Hwy 59.
