My mouthpieces would be slightly more practical, slightly less rediculous, slightly more functional, and would be sold at a greatly reduced price.

Its a heavyweight original style AJ with an American shank and a C4 rim. The prototype is pictured, and I still use it. I had Terry make it because I liked how the Can Brass AJ mouthpiece sounded but thought it was way to light for my horn and didn't like the rim. Terry made a few others and they weighed a ton more than the prototype, had a wider rim, and never worked as well.

You can always holler at Terry W and see what he can cook up for you, if his shop is able to make tuba mouthpieces since the fire.

To be honest, a famous tuba player now in NY recently did a similar concept, but in stainless, and it has been very popular. I use that one too, and it is a brighter, punchier sound compared to the darker fatter W-N piece. Both have their place.

If I had my own line, I would name each style mouthpiece after hot women.
Guitars are shaped the way they are to resemble women. I spend so much time with my moosh planted on that mouthpiece ,I would find that a pleasant association.

Since I'd want to actually turn a profit, they'd all be trumpet mouthpieces.

I think I may have suggested it to them, take the SM series and, copy them in Lexan, reshape the outer, and make it the MD4, MD3, MD2 (M's at the end for the euro skank)

It would also be the first mouthpiece available in several new colours: glow in the dark Blue, gitd pink,gitd orange, gitd red, and of course the already existing gitd green.

I used to use a Conn H2 and, because I am getting older, I now use a Conn Helleberg. I don't see any need to reinvent the wheel if what works is adequate.
