I believe as recently as the last few years this article was republished. If I'm mistaken it was published originally around the mid to late 90s in the TUBA Journal. I hope this at least gives you a starting point.

I have a copy of the article that Ted sent to me that I could scan to a PDF file and e-mail to you, if you like. You can PM me.
I have also done some updating of Ted's list, researching the auditions which have taken place since his article was published. I have compiled a composite list, based on the repertoire included on Ted's list, and which also includes the repertoire asked on the auditions which have occurred since then.
The only repertoire list I know I don't have are the list(s) for the recent Cleveland auditions. All I have for Cleveland is the repertoire for taped auditions, which coincidentally, consists of the top six excerpts asked compiled from over 50 auditions.

The article you are referring to was kindly published in the Srping 2000 ITEA Journal. There have certainly been an amazing amount of auditions since I compiled my information, so there are certain to be slight changes in what was originally published. The articles intent was to simply point young players in the direction of what orchestral excerpts needed to be prioritized in their practice. If I can be of any further help, feel free to email me.
