Ensemble for a Wedding in Chicago this November

Post by chronolith »

Hello all,

A friend asked me if I could find a really good swing/jazz/big band style group (8-10 pieces) for hire to play a wedding at Navy Pier this November. I don't know any of the particulars yet, but if anybody knows any such groups for hire please PM me!

This is not strictly off topic because I personally would love to hear something with a tuba in it!

Thanks all!

Well, to find a great group that includes the TUBA (which I AM SURE that you want since you are posting here, right? :))

Contact Mike Hogg tubabass@excite.com

He's a really great player and plays with a number of swingin groups in Chicago. And, if you dont want tuba, I am sure that Mike can point you in the right direction towards other ideas, he's a super guy.

If you want some down and dirty yet sweet and cool funk- jazz / n'orleans soul and everything in between then get Hogg!! His band is the best in Chi- City!
