I had the really grateful experience of playing this piece last night. The part is extremely meaty and there are a lot of nice things to play/practice with the bass trombone. Does anyone know of a good recording of this work? John

I have a recording with Vladimir Ashkenazy and the DSO-Berlin. It was made in the mid-90's and the sound quality is quite good. The album is a "Double Decca" and comes with the other two Scriabin symphonies as well as Le Poème de l'extase, which is really a great piece.
