For you guys that have sold horns recently, what are some tricks to get a quicker sale? I have had an F listed for sale for a few months and can't seem to get rid of it, even at a low price. And it's even for a good cause........to buy another tuba!!!!
I know of one thing that is hurting me--no pics online. I'm working on that.
My next step is to head to the auction site...well I'll say it....Ebay. For those that have gone that route, what have the results been? Did you get the price you wanted? Less? A lot less???

Any help, not bashing, would be greatly appreciated.

I think the auction is a good way to sell a horn. Be sure to list a reasonable starting price, show a reserve (unless you want to take a chance!), and I've even had good luck with 'buy it now' pricing. If the auction doesn't make your reserve, and/or the horn doesn't sell, you are only out the listing costs.... that's a small price to pay for exposing your desire to sell to the entire world.
