Great find Scooby!

Does anyone have more info on the version of John Williams that Anthony Kniffen played? Was it based on the original (which I heard is harder than the published one) or did he add his personal touch?

Thanks!

He played the "original". I wouldn't call it harder, actually, as it's much more stepwise in the last 3rd of the last movement than the published version. More double tonguing, but stepwise and not so angular.

I have done this with past years by using the analog recorder that comes with Windows XP plus. The only draw back is that it records real time, so you have to start the recorder then start the stream playing. When you are done you can do some minor editing on the tracks then create a WMA or MP3 file. I am sure there are other recorders other then this one that will do the job.
