i need the lead part to the national anthem for a talent contest. The national anthem is the required piece for this, are there any friendly composition people out there that would care to help me out on this, i'll be playing it on a BBb tuba. thanks!

A good skill for you to develop, would be to learn to play it by ear (you could write it down, too....
if you must!).

With a simple google search, I came up with this. You can transpose it in a variety of ways.

To get this into the key of Bb, read it as if it were in bass clef in the key of Bb (i.e. assume 2 flats). Change any sharp accidentals to naturals.

By the way, I'm looking for an arrangement of the lead for the Jobim "One Note Samba"...

A church hymnal will most likely have it included -- transpose from treble to bass clef.
Visit your local library -- I'd bet you lunch that you'll find it there, somewhere -- probably also in treble clef, concert pitch.
Good luck,

... or is this part of the talent contest to see how you go about getting it?
