Yes, Ill shut up about it eventually, but i would like to hear more opinions. If i have the budget for a Yami 642, 842, or a Besson, am I wasting my time trying a Meinl Weston 451?

ANOTHER QUESTION TO AVOID POSTING A NEW TOPIC (which probably will end up happening)

Has anyone performed the solo SONATINA by Warner Hutchison for Baritone (or trombone) ?? I am thinking of trying it, any experience with it?...........

Only if, after playing it, you wish you hadn't. Otherwise, go for it.

I'm a doubler on Euph too, but a bro of mine owns a MW and he sounds great on it!! Meinl Westons are not a waste of anyone's time, you just simply need to play a few to pick the best out of the litter. The MW has a brighter tone than that of a Hirsbrunner, but maybe not as bright as a Yamaha. Perfect in my opinion.

Then again, there's a euph major in my community band that is doing quite well on the newer MW 551. I'd look at that one instead of the 451, as even the MW website seems to prefer people to consider it instead.
