I was up at Walters last Friday, some of you may know that Walter shares his time with Boosey as R+D man.... Anyway to keep it short, Boosey are hot to re-introduce a compact F along the lines of the 1920's body I left with him to be measured. Apparently Walter/Boosey aims to have a prototype on the stand at Budapest competition come July. So watch this space as they say..........
Sounds interesting, Simon!

I thought Boosey was now TMG. Did TMG retain any rights to the Boosey name?

Hi, Simon

Have you got any more info on this F tuba? I'm particularly interested in the bore and bell diameters.

Also, is it a 4th valve compensating system?

Thanks,

Jeff

My Hirsbrunner F has a self-centering kicker on the main tuning slide.
