Here we go again....
Please use the search engine to find a "score" (pun intended) of similar threads, a lot of them quite recent. Then if you have a specific question depending on your circumstance or area of the country or availability of a particular instrument, go from there.
Summing up: A lot of good ones out there. Play as many as you can. Be patient. Take someone with you. If you think you like one, let it rest and play some others & come back to it to see if it still "talks back" to you. Set you budget beforehand.

What's the deal, Tubaman90?? Here, you're asking what tuba to buy. And a few threads down, under "Tuba recommendations, "You're giving advice to someone else on what tuba to buy. What gives???

But wasn't that the same question people were already answering in that one?

Whatever...

Anyway, if you need to buy a horn sight unseen, you can't really go wrong with a Miraphone 186. Solid horn, and will certainly last you until you're ready for something else. Not too expensive, and will hold its value well.

The Miraphone 188 CC is a really fine all-round tuba. I love mine, and I got a great deal from Roger Lewis at wwbw.
