Not to start a topic of heresy but what instruments if any does everyone play that are not in the brass family? I learned to play most of them but for some reason still enjoy playing flute. If I had one I would probably play bassoon, just not the one I played in college.
Just curious to see what we get other than string/electric bass.

Ocarina. I just can't co-ordinate a two-handed instrument.

See my signature. Add keyboards for pleasure, in spite of a few years of lessons. Hey, if something has to be played, and I happed to be it, I'll figure some way to get done what needs to get done, even if I have to learn it by rote.

Piano, drum set, and harmonica! Tried a clarinet once. Couldn't get a darn sound out of it.

Rhythm guitar-accoustic and electric, string bass and bass guitar, percussion, tuba trumpet, trombone (valve and slide), and lead and back up vocals. I own a P.A., a van and a huge hand truck and at my age can still shlep that stuff up many flights of stairs.

Was a time, I was considered a pretty mean bass crumhorn player...
