My ex-wife used to say I played the tuba at both ends... I guess you can light both ends, too!

I loved this video. Not so much the chorography, but the fire coming from the tuba.

Will this be the latest things for our children to enjoy? Oh, but someone will probably take a school sousaphone home, dowse it with lighter fluid, and the whole thing will become illegal.

Never mind!

too bad WBA (marching band circuit) bans pyrotechnics...

I'm not sure, but I think SCSBOA still allows them. When I was in high school, over 30 years ago, half-time show competition was always so much fun with the groups that used M-80s that never went off right.

I remember one castle that was burning because of a misfunction. Nothing stopped. The band kept playing. The girls in the castle were still changing clothes. I think everyone in the stands (and the judges) thought it was part of the show. At least no one was hurt. And there was less junk to take home!

I didn't think Max Raabe could get any better, but after seeing such great choreography and pyrotechnics, I'm thinking this is *just* what this song needed...

That was the hottest, campiest tuba show I ever saw.

Bloke, any computer can be improved by removing QuickTime. I don't allow it in my computer, and that video played well.

Has anyone seen "Webjunk 20" on VH1? This needs to be on that show.

Only if you use a PC. For a Mac, it's wonderful. With the new Mac4All plugin, even Windows Media Player files don't look choppy (they usually do on a Mac, when using the actual Windows Media Player for Macintosh.)

It's a song that she sung.

10 seconds with Google will tell you about the Phoenix Projekt, and I think this version of Spears's song would probably not get much approval from her.

That, of course, goes both ways.

Actually, I like these covers better than the originals, as the covers actually show some originality in execution of the concept. Rather than feign insult or disdain, I applaud. Now let's see, how would I light up some Aguilera...nah!
