I use Hetmans on my slides, but I've been experimenting with Super Lube for the slides with a loose tolerance. It's great for kicker slides but for slides you'd rather set and forget, it's too light.

I have been quite satisfied with the product for many years as have many of my customers. I find it does exactly what it is expected to do and is relatively easy to work with. So, you got me curious, what do you find so awful about this product?

The Super Lube? I just feel that the slides move a little too easily compared to the Hetmans. For certain slides that aren't mated correctly, the Hetmans doesn't feel too good but when I put the Super Lube on, it made the slide feel alot smoother.

I really like the Hetman's Slide Oil for my slides. They move quite freely. I always had problems with the Selmer stuff. It would just cause my slides to be worse than what I started out with.
