Bobo & Phillips Awards Finalists Named

The International Tuba Euphonium has just announced Finalists for both its Roger Bobo Awards for Recording Excellence and Harvey G. Phillips Awards for Excellence in Composition.

Winners in both of these contests will be named at a special ceremony during the International Tuba Euphonium Conference in Denver, Colorado on Friday, June 30th at 1:30pm. Both Roger Bobo & Harvey Phillips will be awarding each winner during this ceremony.
Thanks to all who nominated their favorite recordings & compositions. Everyone is encouraged to nominate worthy compositoins & recordings in the next contest. Nominations will be taken for the 2008 contest beginning in 2007. Watch the ITEA Website & Journal for further information.
