Many of you know about the world premiere of Anthony Braxton's work for 100 tubas taking place this weekend in NYC. I will be participating and am wondering if anyone in the NYC area has a spare tuba strap I could borrow.

If someone can help me out, I'll buy you a beer (under 21, I'll buy you a coke!).

Please email me at tubapress@gmail.com with your phone number and I'll call you.

Thanks!!

FWIW, I have used a drum strap before in a pinch.

I have used a mil. surplus rifle strap. It's strong, cheap and reliable. I slipped some plastic tubing over the metal mounting clips so it wouldn't mar the finish.

Do you have the rings on the horn to mount the straps? If so, a coulple of small snap rings and a guitar strap will do.

Nope...no rings on the horn at all
