Contacting Dollybags?

Post by cambrook »

I had some email dialogue with Steve Wiseman from Dollybags earlier this year about buying a gigbag for a Willson 3400 Eb tuba that is on order for our orchestra. The arrival of the tuba was delayed, and things got pretty busy here preparing for a tour of China and other stuff, so nothing has happened for a while.

Now that the tuba is getting closer I'm keen to contact Dollybags and place an order but I'm having no success. Emails to Steve have not been answered, and I've also tried contacting them at dollybags@msn.com and leaving messages on 908-653-1324 without success.

Is there a better way to contact Dollybags? The bags have an excellent reputation and I'd love to buy one, so any help would be most welcome.

Thanks in advance,

They consistently sell small leather items for tuba on eBay with a link to their on line store. You might try sending a message via eBay to them. Last item listed was

Email through Ebay seems to work well. I just got a bag for my new horn from them and it's great! Fast turnaround, fits like a glove, nice shoulder pads and waist belt. The combination of heavy foam and plastic sheet to spread out any impact seems to work well so far. I can get my horn into my car now-- impossible with the hard shell case it came with.

I read about a small fire at the Dollybag shop, in April 2007, on the ebay feedback page. Too bad. They've had my bag for a zipper repair for a long time.
