Just to keep something on the lookout for myself and assuring myself that I will be prepared, Im just curious about which solo's out there are good for auditioning for University (i will start looking into some this upcoming school year) I know its about how you play, not what you play, but hot cross buns won't cut it no matter how well you do it. Any Euphonium/Baritone/Trombone solo's out there that would be good 'enough' to make the cut? (yes the universities vary as well) I think the standards in Canada are just a little lower than the United States but that by no means lowers my expectations for myself.

Anything I should look at ? ( i believe i have to do about three)

Identify the schools you might be interested in. Check their music department web-sites. They often contain information that you need to know, for example:
