Thanks for posting that link!
Someone should post a list of all the great tubists who studied with Bell. It would be a real "Who's Who" of the tuba world.

Or how many of us here are of Bill Bell's direct second generation? I am one. I studied with Winston Morris. Winston studied with Mr. Bell as a grad student at I.U.

Carole Nowicke may have a pretty good idea, since she's intervewed quite a number of his students.
