I recently came across the name "music works" as an instrument make. Are these reputable horns? Where are they made, and how high quality are they?

Never heard of it. Do you have a link?

If you don't see the brand listed at Dillon's or Baltimore Brass, I'd leave it alone.

Do you mean "Musikwerks" as in Joseph Hetman, as in Hetman Musical Instrument Lubricants!?
