Annual King CC Tuba Search

Post by hbcrandy »

It has been a while since I posted this inquiry.

Back in the ealry 1980's I owned a King CC roatary-valved tuba that I sold, through Don Harry to Mark Jones, the President of the Buffalo, NY, AF of M Local. The tuba was silver plated with a gold wash inner bell and four rotary valves. I understand that the bell had been cut down to a 19 or 20 inch diameter. It had cases for the body and detachable bell. Mark does not remember to whom he sold the tuba. I vaguely remember it being sold to someone in New York or Pennsylvania. If anyone knows who owns this tuba, can you please put me in touch with them. I may be interested in buying it if it is for sale.

Thank you.

I THINK that the horn you are asking about is owned by Rick Benjamin, who conducts the Paragon Ragtime Orchestra - you can contact him through the PRO website.
