Years ago I used to have an LP by Music Minus One that was for Brass Quintet minus Tuba. IF I recall correctly, the ensemble was the St. Louis Brass Quintet but more specifically I think there was one tuba note (the tuning note) played by Dan Perantoni. The LP came with the tuba parts, and it included the first Ewald Quintet and other nice things. Music Minus One apparently does not make this one any more.
