Does anyone know of any trios for tubas and euphoniums.
Preferably 2 euphs or trombone and 1 tuba? Thanks

Again an ensemble format, which I have not worked too much with.

However there is a little (far too short) Italian renaissance gem, originally set for 3 male voices:

Then there is this immensely popular German vocal bass solo of "Im tiefen Keller" (a drinking song), which I set for 2 bass tubas and a contrabass tuba.

I made the 1st part for my own Eb tuba, and it will not sit well on a euphonium, as it would be taken down to its double pedal. Interesting note, but not terribly well suited for performances.

However I also made a version for two bassoons and a contrabassoon. The bassoon parts will work well on euphs, even if they are a bit lower than most euph repertory. The back draw is, that the tuba will have to read the contrabassoon part an octave down. No mercy on that point as the chords will go wrong, if that reading down does not happen. and search Musica Festiva. This is a chart by Vaclav Nelybel that have been out print since the early 80's. Now they are back. He wrote them to be played by 3 like instruments therefore we have 4 versions currently: Trumpet, Horn, Euph. and Tuba. They will work as 2 Euphs and 1 Tuba. If you are interested, I would order the Euph. version and have the Tuba read the 3rd part down an octave or just ask me when you order and will print off a Tuba part to go along with the 2 Euphs.

This set is easier than Ludus, but still challenging!
