I am looking for a euphonium stand . This will be used on a carpeted floor and the euph. most likely stay in it unless being used .
What's the best, most stable one out there ?

Looks very similar to the ones that the srores use at conference displays

Try the Baltimore Brass stand--works great! I use the low one for seated playing, but there is a tall one available to be used while standing. Very stable, durable, weighs the same as the K&M, cheaper, and sets up quicker.tubatooter1940 wrote:I'm old. Help!
WAIT! I just re-read your post: you are looking for something to actually cradle the horn as opposed to a rest. The K&M or BB stand support the weight, but are not designed for hands-free use. That function sounds like the Wenger Tuba-Tamers'---whole 'nother animal! I have seen them, but never used one. Sorry!
Bearin' up!
