Did anyone attend the Northeast Tuba/Euph workshop up in Salem, MA last week?
Any details, comments, experiences that anyone can share?

I attended the Northeast Tuba/Euphonium workshop. I am a trombonist, bass trombonist, Euphoniumist and most recently tubist. The event was well organized, well run and I feel like I got a lot out of the week. Mike Milnarik (organizer and tuba instructor), Sanae Kanda (accompanist) and Roland Froscher (euphonium instructor) were accesable and yet professional. I think that the week was a positive experience for all of the participants.

NETEW was an awesome experience! I felt like I had improved so much over just one week. I got a chance to hear other players, exciting concerts every night, work closely with euphonium virtuoso Roland Froescher, and of course Mike Milnarik was there to help everything run smoothly. The effort put in by all of the faculty was amazing. I would highly recommend this workshop to other tuba and euphonium players for next summer! It is well worth the investment and a ton of fun!

Thank you, Art and Patrick!
I gotta chime in because I had such a fantastic time working with everyone that attended! (..and I speak for Roland and Sanae too!) All participants arrived eager to improve their currently level, and had a lot of energy the entire week! Everyone was not only a pleasure to work with, but was great to get to know a little better personally as well. We all made new friends!
The past week was definitely a huge highlight for me, and the credit goes to the participants, my colleagues Roland Froescher (euphonium) and Sanae Kanda (pianist/composer [and my wife]), and to all of the guest artists that appeared. Everyone worked very hard, and the workshop ran very smoothly because of it!
Thank you, everyone! I'm looking forward to next year already!
Sincerely,
Mike
