Here's someone in the factory I've ordered parts from - not sure if he's still there:

What Alex tells about the phone and fax ## is fine within Germany.

If you call from out of Germany, you have to remove the first zero and replace it with the national code of Germany, which is 49. Depending on the systems in your country, you may have to put one or more zeros in front of the German national code. When I phone Germany I have to dial 0049 and then the given number minus the first "German" zero.

To the original poster:

You don’t tell about the model # of your instrument.

You cannot even be sure to get adequate parts from the factory, if they have not made a newer version of the old style 4+1 version.

I know of Joe S, Oberloh, and Stofer being able to go to their hellboxes for lever plus stays and then being able to cut the lever arm by eye measurement.

Nobody would like to see the ergonomic enhancements, which I have made to my instruments by means of wood, leather, strings, and textiles including elastics intended for old style lower body underwear for females.

Most certainly not our bassbone professor. He is a southpaw and had all of his instruments converted paying immense sums. When I was on Christmas leave from the Faroes, where my trombone trigger had broken, I took some lessons from him. He had not an instrument at home, only his mouthpiece.

When he learned, that he could just turn around the bell of my bone and play it with my very flexible system, he went rotten about not having gotten that idea himself. My "repair" had cost lest than DKr. 10.00. His professionally done rebuild of the exact same model trombone had lifted DKr. 1500.00 or more out of his pocket. And we are speaking 1975, where money still was somewhat more valued than today.

Yes... Getzen/Allied is the source for Meinl parts but don't expect to be able to get parts for anything older than a model produced earlier than day before yesterday! Meinl had made many subtle changes and most parts won't interchange. For example, you could buy a complete rotor assembly but don't expect to be able to buy just a rotor.
