Dillon Music unveiled a new web site today. It looks great. Still has a few kinks that I'm sure they'll fix soon.
Among the new features are three video clips showing Howard Johnson playing the new tuba that has been named after him, and an interview with Howard and Steve Dillon about the new tuba:

I just want to let everyone know that this web address is not the correct web address. It will be still
www.dillonmusic.com We are in the process of switching over the server and all of that other fun stuff. Please be patient and our new website will be up and going very shortly.

I took another look at the first clip of Howard playing the tuba. Notice that the bass player behind him is fingering with his right hand.

The house lines of tuba mouthpieces seem to have disappeared - M1C/F1/F2, Hellebergs, The Chief, Sheridan.
If they're just late getting to the scene, maybe they'll show up with more dimensionally detailed descriptions, for the benefit of us delusional optimists who shop for mouthpieces by mail order. Maybe the sort of information that's provided for the popular PT models would help people looking at the M1C, F1 or F2. Or physical comparisons to similar models in other lines.

As the reputation of the store is superior, so surely the web site will be if we all give them the time they need for transition.
