use the "search old TubeNet" function for some info.

I researched Kalison before deciding on a horn and was advised to look elsewhere.

I have owned a Kalison DS as my only CC tuba for over five years. It has served me very well and I have never second guessed my purchase. My short list when shopping for a new CC tuba consisted of the Kalison, the 2155 & 2145, and the Getzen G50. The Kalison is a beautiful horn that sounds terrific, and it is available at a great price. I have never understood why some people do not care for them. Mine plays with such ease and has far greater intonation than nearly every other horn I've tried. It it a great all-around horn that seems to have gotten a bad rap.
I will always be a fan!

Sounds like there is no big problem with the Kalison. However, there are some issues with the vendor that you might also research on the "search old tube net". Just a suggestion! 8)
