B&S Serial Number Question

This is slightly embarassaing but I have a PT16 F tuba and I'm having difficulty finding the serial number on the instrument. Where can I find it? The B&S CC is on the 1st valve. I need the serial for insurance purposes. Thanks guys.

So which number is the serial number? The one on the lead pipe, or the one on the first valve?

The number on the leadpipe is the horn's SN and the number on the valve casing is the cluster's SN.
may not be a serial no

If your B&S was not imported by Custom Music, then it probably doesn't have a serial number. I owned a 1988 PT-3 that I bought directly from Germany, and there wasn't one.
