If the engraving looks like this:

Image

then it is a St. Pete.

The .jpg is hand drawn by Sven Bring of Stockholm, our fellow TubeNet’er. Actually it is his avatar, which I have pilfered.

Sven has a St. P BBb, which has had some valve problems, as he bought it out of Russia without the German linkage conversion.

I tend to agree, that the tuba in question is a St. P, but not the original pre-2000 version.

However I am not able to tell which of these versions it is:

The German revision.

The North Carolina revision.

The post-2002, or so, Russian revision.

I thought it looked like an older Lidl, but I'm wrong.
