When did you go to Custom Music? I was there one month ago. What other F tubas did you try out?

I was just there last Tuesday, August 1st. I only tried out 5 or 6 F tubas, because I'm not as familiar with them. They were mostly PT-10s and PT-15s, but there may have been a couple of other models mixed in there, I'm not sure! All I know is that the one I chose is pretty sweet! Now I just have to learn how to play it better, it's more different than I expected it to be!

Congratulations on the new tubas.
You are forunate in many ways. Should you ever need any work done on your horns, you are but a few miles from the new home of Mr. Lee Stofer, one of the best brass repair professionals in the biz. He is in Camanche, near Clinton.

Enjoy!!

Whoo! Nice! (Serious envy attack approaching........)
Now 6 or 7 more tubas, and you'll be in good shape.

Indeed, the F tuba, the PT-15 Anniversary Model, does have a rose bell! Good eye!

No idea what's it's made of, but it looks neat and the sound is beautiful! My mom had never heard an F tuba before (the timbre is unmistakably different, even to her un-musical ears), and she looked shocked and exclaimed, "Oh! That's cool!!"

Dude, you must have SOME KINDA parents! You need an older brother?

Haha, they didn't buy them! A loan and some of my own money bought them, which means that even more of my money will be paying that loan back in the future (damn it!). Although, my dad has offered to buy me some cases, although I don't think he knew what kind of price range we'd be getting into...
However, my parents did buy me a brand new B&S PT-1 with a case when I was a junior in high-school. That's called support if I ever heard of it!
Also, I already have 2 older brothers. One is a stock-broker/business man of types, and the other is an analytical chemist. We have a varied family...

Awesome! But why the long face?
Couldn't get the hot rod babes to pose along with the horns.

So what kind of case is that in the photo? Did Custom end up giving one of their's for the PT-6?
