I'd like to make a Hose-a-phone Quintet.
Got any advice for choice/availability of bore and lengths?
Also funnel advice please : )
Lastly, what rep can you knock-out with a hose-a-phone band??
Cheers!

I'm guessing that for starters, the bugle corps lengths and music of old (before pistons) would work just fine. Between the wars, there were corps aplenty in the US.
Baroque trumpet stuff ought to work just great, too. But then you have to be able to look the other hose-o-phone players straight in the eye and say, "I'm better than you!"...

Sounds great. Thanks!
In England I don't think we ever had Bugle Corps in the same way you guys did/do. Anyone care to elaborate on Bugle lengths and 'Music of Old'...

US Air Force drum & bugle corps history
United States Naval Academy Drum & Bugle Corps
Drum Corps World History book
I think that there are several people here that can tell you far more than I, I only have a passing knowledge...
