Out of your favorite gig bags, which are top/bottom loading and which are side loading bags?

Side-loading as in the old Reunion Blues style.

Cronkhite and RB are side opening, like a book.
Altieri and tuxedo bags are top-loading.
Pro-Tec are sort of side loading, but they don't open on the bell, so you kind of have to slide your tuba in and out.

Pro-Tec is not one of my favorite brands, but a common one and very cheap. I have one for my BBb and I don't like it...

I have a Winter/Soundwear bag that I use with my Besson 983. It is side opening. It does a good job protecting the horn, but after more than 2 years of continuous use is beginning to wear.

I use a top loading Altieri with my King 2341. It is a little less convenient to load and the backpack straps aren;t as comfortable as on the Soundwear, but it seems to be holding up better.

I also have a Tuxedo top loading bag that I don't like as much as the Altieri.
