Spirit of America 2006

Any word on why the 2006 edition of the US Army's Spirit of America was cancelled? My wife reallly enjoys these.

A pretty good guess would be money. The Army has cut spending on just about everything not war-related and scrutnized every purchase for its validity to mission accomplishment. That's not an official statement, just an assumption based upon current trends.
