Once in a while, I do encounter a text string with a series of individual "error" lines displayed.

If Sean want's a copy, I can try to capture my results next time I see this.

Cheers,

Looks like this:

Code: Select all

Warning: mysql_connect(): Too many connections in /var/www/phpBB2/db/mysql4.php on line 48

Warning: mysql_error(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /var/www/phpBB2/db/mysql4.php on line 331

Warning: mysql_errno(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /var/www/phpBB2/db/mysql4.php on line 332
phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database
Only occasional, but also happens in Safari for me... will check other browsers...

I am ona MAC and have had much better luck with FireFox. It is faster on most sites and does some things Safari does not.

Unfirtunately I have 3 browsers going at all times depending upon which site I am on. If only one would work for all!!

It's not the browser. It's the web site. The web site runs on mysql.

I just now made a change thanks to the error message that someone here posted. TubeNet keeps growing and outpaced the configuration I had in place.

Keep me updated if you still see this particular error or any new ones.

thanks

The load on the server went berzerk. I changed the config back. I am on vacation right now and can't get a high speed connection to thoroughly test the site speed after config changes. I will try to get back to it this weekend.

Keep me posted on perceived problems though. I DO need to tweak things to keep up with growth.

OS X version 10.3.9
Safari 1.3.2

Never had this problem, but probably don't spend as much time here as others.

This is not a client side issue. Doesn't matter what browser or OS you use. Thanks for the input, but I gotta address this server side.
