Very nice. Thanks for posting it. I'm assuming the sound color is a nice (smaller) match for your L&H BBb.

your welcome Steve thanks for asking about it. I like the sound, dark color for it's size but the projection isn't quite enough for anything other than solo or small ensemble work for my tastes, though I've used it in a full orchestral setting and playing the Eb part for the river city band(jax) and gotten good response on both counts. Unfortunatly I used it daily in my teaching job over last 5 years prior to my service time and it is somewhat worse for the wear from constant lugging around. Needs to be refurbed right now and I'm saving my pennies. As fortune would have it I ended up very near to one of the best at doing just that so hopefully in the near future it will be in as good a shape as the L&H. Thanks again for asking about it folks.

Was that a Bob Rusk conversuion?
Yes it is.
Do you know what the valves are from. The one I played had a new Conn .65x, possibly from a 5J.
You'd have to ask Mr. Rusk on that one, the conversion was done prior to my ownership, and I don't know enough about that type of thing to have any idea. Sorry. Thanks for the interest.
