something like a Helleberg
If you like the Helleberg, then what exactly are you looking for?
By the way, if Wayne has six of them, you might wonder why he would purchase that many if they are only "OK."

Is there any mouthpiece maker who didn't make a version of the Helleberg?iiipopes wrote:Wick 1L

Wow! I didn't even know they HAD anything that wasn't a 22 or 24AW!Chuck(G) wrote:Do they even count as a separate entity from Conn/King/Selmer etc.? In any case, their in-stock offerings are down to a paltry 5: 7, 12, 18, 22 and 24AW. Everything else is special-order.schlepporello wrote:Bach?
Even Faxx offers a Helleberg.
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

Wrap a piece of golfer's lead tape around it where the bowl meets the shank. It worked for me on my Kelly 18.tubatom91 wrote:I dont really like the kellyburg that I bought it rattles when I play on it in a concert situation. I think I might go with a con-helleburg gold plated 7B

Bach. I just gathered together a few so he could go directly without having to wade through all the descriptions at the various websites.Chuck(G) wrote:Is there any mouthpiece maker who didn't make a version of the Helleberg?iiipopes wrote:Wick 1L

They've got a large CNC machine shop operation (they make rotary valves, screwbell flanges and all sorts of other trinkets, including horn mouthpieces and bells. They've also got a complete plating shop.Bob1062 wrote:Why does a company that makes french horns make tuba mouthpieces, and only mouthpieces, too?
A machine sitting idle represents lost revenue--why not make some tuba mouthpieces also?
They're nice folks and their mouthpieces are nicely done--and a heckuva deal.
