New Symphony Center in Nashville Opens

That's quite a hall, Ike. Congratulations to the Nashville area.

Reading through the articles on your link, I saw that Kenneth Schermerhorn was the conductor of the Nashville Symphony for many years, and the Milwaukee Symphony before that.

His name brings back memories for me. The guy was a good musician. He conducted the Los Angeles Philharmonic's young peoples' radio concerts in the mid 1950's, and I never missed a broadcast. From there, I think he went to the Hong Kong Symphony and made some pretty good recordings with that group. Then I lost track of his activities. Glad to learn he had success in the U.S. after that.
