In a box of miscellaneous brass quintet music that I was given is a very pleasant piece entitled "Variations on a English Tune" by Wilfred Roberts, Â©1972 by Cor Publishing Co.

Google searches come up with a bassoonist named Wilfred Roberts, but not a composer.

What does anyone know about Wilfred Roberts?

Some of Mr. Roberts' Christmas arrangements for quintet are very nice indeed (Silent Night, God Rest Ye Merry).
