Anything but the Meinl Weston 2155.

What is a 5/4 really? the MW2155 is really nice, but I'd not put it in the same size comparison with my Rudy 5/4 which feels massive sometimes. I really liked the PT 606p i played before, and the PT 6(p) are really good too. I haven't been able to spend a lot of time on other big horns.

That really depends what you want as to which is the best.

No one best 5/4 - its your choice!

I'd put my money on the Rudy Meinl 5/4, (actually called the 4/4.) They have a great sound, plus, they can usually be found for very cheap in comparison to other 5/4 horns. Can't beat that.

And also a very versatile horn IMHO.
