Hi all "Greater Seattle" TUBACHRISTMAS fans.

We're planning on doing the usual things in the usual places on 11/18/2006. As the schedule "firms up" I'll post updates here:

http://www.ryanschultzmusic.com/html/ev ... _____.html

I'll also post here and in the events section of tubenet.

Save the date!

Is the "national Anthem" like the National Anthem or National Emblem?

November 18 seems a bit early for Christmas music, doesn't it?

I mean, we don't even start listening to it on the radio until the day AFTER Thanksgiving, when everyone goes ga-ga over not-that-great-of-a-deal day (Black Friday).

These things keep inching their way earlier and earlier, don't they?

I'm not even finished with the trick or treating booty in my pillow case by the 18th of November  and your already talking ho-ho-ho? You still have another holiday in there and I am not willing to skip the turkey, No-sur-re. Still, I hope its a success. :) Thanks for the heads up.

We get this question every year. A few days after November 18th, Ryan enters the Nutcracker with the Pacific Northwest Ballet (http://www.pnb.org) and is not allowed to exit until after Christmas.

It works out well, because that allows those who want to attend even more of the TubaChristmas events around the Pacific Northwest.

I wasn't trying to insult anybody (I hope I didn't), I just thought that was uncommon. I hope it goes well for all of you up there!

Hey Ryan, yes! Arrange the National Anthem by all means.

Set in 13/16 time. :)

All of the information has been confirmed and is up on the internet:

BTW, Mark Williams and Kadie Nichols from the ballet orchestra play every year as well. So, we do our TUBACHRISTMAS really early because otherwise we can't do it.
