I wonder if that's a copy of Mike Johnson's York CC?...

Here is Mike Johnson's York CC to compare to the GR41.

The new model looks interesting.

I did play the GR41. I was told it was a copy of a York belonging to Bob Tucci. To be honest the horn didn't reach out and grab me. It was also quite uncomcortable, although Neil @ Custom said that was being addressed in the production models. Maybe spending some more time with this horn would make me like it more.

I played it about a month ago @CMC and thought it was a great horn with a very good, dark sound.

Hi,
I played the PT606 at the Army DC tuba conference and I really liked it. If I didn't hace a PT6 already I would think about getting it.

I read what was on Custom's site. But I didn't notice a price tag. The comment made in the description is the York CC tuba you always wanted but now can afford. Just how afforadable?

I was wondering the same thing. (Their definition of affordable may or may not match mine!)
Anyone know the asking price?
