Anyone Have Any Interest In A 1958 NYBQ Film?

I bought a 16mm print of a 1958 film called "Meet The Brasses".
It stars the NYBQ, and I assume Harvey Phillips is in the tuba chair. It's a film made for kids that shows what the various instruments can do via demonstrations.
It's going to cost about $150 to transfer the film to some sort of digital medium. From there I can transfer the digital medium to DVD.
I don't want to sell copies of this film, since I don't hold the copyright to it, but would it be wrong to ask any interested parties to help pay for the transfer costs? If ten of us are interested, we pay $15 each (maybe adding $2 for shipping) and we each get a DVD of the film as a result. No more copies are made after that.
PM me if you're interested.
If no one is interested, I'll still get the film transferred at some point. In that case, I would like contact information for Mr. Phillips so that I may send him a DVD.
