He is from Brazil. And yes he is blind.

In that kind of music he is hte best I know. Very fast, and exuberant and full of rythm.

Yes, I did notice him playing a Monette. I didn't want to say anything about it, but now I will: Even on professional recordings, great semi-pros, etc., he's the first person I've heard that is worth it, even of the big boys. I am not worthy.
