I wrote up a little halloween ditty I do with my elementary band every October to teach a little about minor tonality. The melody I am sure you have all heard somewhere on old cartoons or movies or somewhere like that. I was wondering if it is an actual melody from the classical music repertoire. here are the notes as best as i can describe them:

In addition to that classic motif, Gounod's Funeral March of a Marionette, as used by Hitchcock, is also good for the not-so-holiday. (The origin of the word "Halloween" being a conflagration of the phrase, "All Hallow's Eve," or the evening before All Saints Day)
