What to Play - Orchestral Brass Ideas Needed

My orchestra director is looking for something for the brass - standard setup of 3 trumpets, 4 horns, 3 trombones, tuba.
It would appear we've been counting entirely too many measures rest of late, and he wants to program something not terribly long - maybe 5 to 7 minutes - to get us off his back.
I'm playing bass trombone in this outfit, and I'm not quite as well-versed in the orchestral world as I'd like to be, hence a few ideas from you esteemed gentlefolks would be welcome.

What about Shostakovitch Festival Overture? Good for the brass and about the right length!

Ditto on the Dukas fanfare.
You gotta love starting on the high Ab in the tuba part, usually when you have been standing outside in the heat / cold waiting for an hour without being able to play a note.
Marty "who would keep that pitch in his head the entire time until it started"

Also,,,
The John Williams Olympic Fanfare. Since you are also a bass bone player, you will appreciate the meaty bass trombone part in it.

Add percussion and do Copland's "Fanfare for the Common Man".

Many thanks for the ideas.
Some of these have already been discussed among a couple of us in the orchestra - the Dukas, for example, and the Shostakovich.
The "occasion" is really a Jewish-oriented religious affair of some type (never done one, so I don't know that much about it), so I'm thinking the Britten, Grieg, or RK might be good. Something in a minor key, anyway.
But I'll certainly compile the entire list and present it to the director. He'll make the call, of course.
Thanks again!
