I had this same problem last fall with my new 2155. The guides were shearing off because of "something Matt Walters said that I quickly forgot". He said it was a common problem with the MW's, especially in a certain serial number group (2000 group maybe, not to be confused with the model 2000MW).

suggestions - if the guide shears off, to fix it in a pinch turn the guide 1/2 rotation, turning upside down but exposing a bit more plastic to keep the valve from spinning. If the guide is sheared so much that you cannot grab it with pliers to remove it; heat a safety pin with a lighter, insert it into the plastic (melting a hole through to the threads) and gently remove the guide.

This is a quick fix, but I think my problem, as yours may be as well, was something more.

he's right...

if you need a quick fix-know what to do (i needed it last autumn and didn't know what to do).
this problem needs repair man stuff-unless you feel comfortable buffing your valves/casings and then rinsing small microscopic metal filings from the valve section (i hope you are uncomfortable doing all of this to your nice horn)
see a repair guy.
