12:30 - 2:00 Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble Rehearsal

2:00 - 2:15 Break
2:15 - 3:45 Clinic by Gary McCurdy: “The Tubador".
Gary McCurdy of Washington, Iowa retired after 25 years as a band director in the Washington Community Schools. For the past 20 years he has been performing around the Midwest as The Tubador. His self-contained solo tuba performances feature standard melodies from the popular and jazz repertory. He has spent more than a decade as a performer at the Iowa State Fair, RAGBRAI and many other events in Iowa. His mission is to bring the beauty of the tuba to the listener on the street.
3:45 - 4:00 Break
4:00 - 5:00 Concert (free to public)
5:30 - 5:45 Memorial Service at Mr. Bell's Gravesite
(weather permitting)
6:00 - ??? Socializing and Planning for 2007
Registration fee $10 students, $15 adults
