New Carolers Favorites Question

I've noticed that the old books are out of print and it seems there is a new set available from http://www.jwpepper.com (expanded from 70 to 133 carols). My question is this: I want to add a few parts to my collection of old books. Will the original 70 tunes in the new books play correctly with the 70 tunes from the old books that everyone else will be playing out of? Anyone know?

Thanks,

From the SA's website:

Carolers Favorites has long been a favorite of North American Salvation Army musicians.

Every year, at street corner kettles and in shopping malls, hundreds of brass players play these fine arrangements of well-known carols. Initially published in 1953, then revised in 1962, Carolers Favorites was expanded in 1994 with the addition of 21 popular carols and songs. An optional fifth part and F, Alto Clef, C Treble, and Bass Clef parts make this collection fully adaptable for concert band or orchestra.

Seventy carols comprise this new edition which includes vocal and instrumental editions. Since these two editions are compatible musically and numerically, they may be combined to feature various combinations of voice, instrument and/or keyboard.

I think that's the one thats out of print - but I just contacted the SA through their web site and ordered the parts, so I appreciate your quote - it allowed me to google my way to their site. We'll see what comes in the mail . . .

I just got the entire set from Sheet Music Plus. It took them a while, you probably won't get them in time for this Christmas. I got the vocal score while I was at it.

If they are out of print, you'll be lucky to grab what you can while you can.
