A very special tuba player...

Tune into the Macy's day parade today.
When the Mountain Home High School Band from Mountain Home, Arkansas is performing play close attention to the tuba section.
That's right, he's completely blind. First blind musician to participate in the parade (other than Ray Charles).
He has been with the marching band and been in the band program for years. He plays the tuba because he can use his left hand to read braille music, and he has an aide who he locks arms with (she marches beside of him) so he can march with his high school band.
(shameless plug for a former high school (from a long time ago), that has devoted itself to not letting anything be an obstacle for its students)
